A mummified body, believed to be that of one-time Playboy Playmate Yvette Vickers, was found in a Beverly Hills home on Monday (May 2).
The body was found in a dilapidated home, according to Reuters, after a neighbor noticed cobwebs and old letters in the mailbox. It’s believed the body was in situ for at least a year before being discovered.
The house was reportedly packed with boxes, one window was broken and a space heater was running in the upstairs room where the body was found. Police said there were no signs of foul play.
Vickers, named Playboy’s Miss July in 1959, was also a B-movie actress whose credits include “Attack of the 50 Foot Woman” and “Attack of the Giant Leeches.” She also made an uncredited appearance in 1950’s “Sunset Boulevard.”
